SARANGSoft has launched filexpertez v2.1 with cloud support and the CloudScape browser

SARANGSoft has released the final version 2.1 of filexpertez for Windows. The most important addition of this version is support for backup to cloud storage – Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure. Now data backup can be done to local drives or FTP or cloud storage.
This release also includes the CloudScape cloud storage browser application for easy transfer of files and folders between cloud and local storage. .

The next upgrade of filexpertez will be released as Version 2.2 (planned for Q4-2011) to enhance the feature set and incorporate suggestions from the users. More exciting developments are already underway!

SARANGSoft is now a Intel Software Partner

SARANGSoft is proud to announce the recognition as an Intel Software Partner (ISP). SARANGSoft has been working with Intel to get its products through the ISP program to detect problems with the help of Intel tools, and addressing issues that affect overall performance and user experience.
SARANGSoft has already released three Windows 7 certified software products – filexpertez for Windows v1.0, SysExpertez Standard v1.0, and Testology Standard v1.0. The v1.1 upgrade for all these products will be released within the next couple of months, and the final beta release for some are already available on the website. The final beta of another Windows product, Logastic v1.0, has been released for Windows C++ developers to try out and send feedback.
On the Linux front, SARANGSoft has released filexpertez for Linux (Fedora Core and Ubuntu) v1.1, and is currently working on the v1.2 release. The final beta release of another new tool, Linux Job Scheduler (not yet formally named), has been released for interested Linux users.
All these products will be listed and sold via Intel Business Exchange (IBX) to the users around the world.
The goal is to continue optimizing all these software products for Intel architecture and technologies, thereby providing the best user experience on the Intel-based products, including the Atom processor line, which is increasingly being used for mobile solutions.

SARANGSoft Corporation, and SARANGSoft India Pvt. Ltd (SIPL) as a branch of the parent company, are now Microsoft Certified Partner – ISV / Software Solutions. The ability and experience of developing software products has enabled us to achieve the ISV / Software Solutions competency. This clearly indicates our ability to function as the software product development partner for any Windows software company around the world. For years SARANGSoft has been working as the Virtual Offshore Development Center for some of its overseas clients. The Microsoft partner program achievement sends a formal stamp of approval for our competence. Our next goal is to achieve the Custom Development competency in Microsoft Partner Program, and reach the Gold Certification level.

SARANGSoft releases final beta of Testology v1.1

SARANGSoft is glad to announce the availability of the final beta of Testology Standard v1.1. Testology is a powerful, yet flexible and easy-to-use tool for software developers and test developers to create and execute automated test applications for Windows C++ code. The v1.1 adds the ability to auto-generate the test code structure – the signature for all the test functions defined for a test suite. The generated code is such that the developer / test developer can compile the generated code to have the shell of the test suite functioning, without writing a line of code! The next step is to fill in the actual test code for the defined test functions, and thereby complete the test suite.
Testology Standard v1.0 has been certified for Windows 7. The v1.1 beta passes the Windows 7 compatibility tests, and will be submitted for certification as soon as the final release is ready (within the next month).

This same logging engine is at the core of two SARANGSoft products – Testology and DirectShow Spy filter. Logastic enables a developer to just plug in the logging engine, choose whatever options are suitable, and keep logging without any concern for wherever it needs to get logged – window, file or debugger. This product will be available for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, as well as Windows Server 2003 to 2008-R2.

SARANGSoft has released the RC2 (Release Candidate 2) of filexpertez for Windows v1.0 for final testing by interested parties before the final v1.0.0 is released (expected by January 2010).

Subsequent updates of the product are already planned to be released v1.0.1, v1.0.2 etc. to address any issues and suggestions from users. Feature upgrades are also planned as v1.1.0 within Q1-2010.

SARANGSoft Clockwork (Basic and Professional) coming very soon

SARANGSoft is releasing the final beta of Clockwork v1.0 for widespread user testing. The Clockwork fills a missing piece for Linux users by helping set up the execution of various regular activities without having to remember to do that every time, such as sending an e-mail, taking data backup, getting a reminder etc. SARANGSoft Clockwork wraps the power of Cron – the basic scheduler of Linux – into an easy-to-use application with graphical user interface, for the rest of us. It's not necessary for you to do much, except specifying the jobs and their scheduling information. You can schedule jobs on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

SysExpertez v1.1 and Professional edition nearing beta release!

SysExpertez for Windows v1.1 is almost ready for release. The final test version will be released for widespread functional testing within a short time. SysExpertez is a tool to be used by the IT System Administrator of a Windows network. It helps to track and manage the hardware and software assets as well as the users and user-groups within the domain from a remote PC or the domain controller. SysExpertez provides a flexible search capability to locate the set of PCs, users and groups matching specific attributes. SARANGSoft at NASSCOM Product Conclave & Expo 2009 in Bangalore (Oct 27-28)

SARANGSoft India Pvt. Ltd (SIPL), a member of NASSCOM, was at the NASSCOM Product Conclave & Expo 2009 as an exhibitor. This event was organized at hotel Lalit Ashoke in Bangalore on Oct 27 & 28, 2009. There were thousands of visitors to check out the variety of product being offered by the nearly 50 organizations, including big name companies like Intel and Cisco.
SARANGSoft showcased its newly released and Windows 7 logo-ed products – Testology and SysExpertez – along with filexpertez for Windows and Linux, and the .MORE suite of hosted business applications for SMBs. The products generated a lot of positive interest among the visitors as well as other exhibitors.
